The Help America
Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) provides for federal monies to assist states in upgrading
voting equipment and election procedures to protect the right to vote of all our
citizens. Individuals with a demonstrated commitment to the State's electoral
process and the desire and creativity to make elections easier and better for
our voters have been selected.
