Candidate Certification

N.J.S.A. 19:13-22 provides that the Secretary of State (the Chief Election Officer) shall
(1) certify all candidates, nominated in any direct petition or primary certificate of nomination, that are qualified to be placed on the 2008 General Election Ballot; and
(2) forward a formal statement of same to the twenty-one county clerks in New Jersey authorizing such candidate's placement on the ballot. |
